Dear Abbey,
You were a bit of a pill today. I should cut you some slack because I'm pretty sure you are teething. You are 20 months and only have 10 teeth, so chances are they're coming. And you have that wicked cold that's been going around. It made you lose your voice which is actually pretty adorable. But whatever volume you lack when whining, you are definitely making up for in quantity. We had three moments of contentment today:
The vest. Finally I figured out you wanted to wear the vest and ONLY the vest. I think it makes you look like one of the Village People, but whatever. One minute of contentment.
Minute Two: taking stress out on the playdough. It helped mom too.
After your bath I let you put baby lotion in my hair and on my face. It was one of those days where I looked like a mess and my hair was gross anyway. It was totally worth minute three of contentment.
I'm still glad you're mine.

Whoa - the last picture of her, bottom right, looks SO much like you at that age! I say this like I was paying attention to you at that age... to rephrase, she looks so much like PICTURES of you at that age.
It helps on these kinds of days to at least write down the good things about it, huh? :) She's always had such a huge personality :)

Why am I laughing so hard? I just can't get over the first picture of Abbey and her vest, I'm actually shedding a tear right now.
Oh, that was a much needed laugh, the kind that makes your stomach ache. I'm going to check back later tomorrow and see if it still makes me laugh. Really the whole post was awesome, thanks for sharing!

I'm back again, and guess what? The vest is just as awesome today as it was yesterday. If I'm having a bad day, I now know where I can turn to brighten it up!
Only 10 teeth? Yeah, she's gotta be teething. Jace has 16! Adorable pictures though!! I will agree with the rest, she looks SO much like you, Ash!

She's a pill all right. It's nice to see another pill out there to compete with my pill. I'm going to copy your post although I will have to be creative to be as positive as you were on this one. .. we've had a couple of "those" kind of days.
I absolutely LOVE the last picture on the right. Abbey looks ADORABLE, and you are such a fun mom! She is totally getting into it. I love all your pictures. They look great in that sepia tone. You are a queen of digital scrapbooking. Of course your pictures are particularly cute because all the people in them are GORGEOUS!
