I've been editing our home videos for the year and came across this little gem I promised to post months ago. I guess I feel in a self-humiliating mood. Too bad I'm taking my sisters down with me... It was getting late when we did this, so it's pretty dark. But you'll get the idea. Oh boy...you'll get the idea.

Do you think my big brother will do a routine with me at the next family reunion?
Probably not.
We also instituted a 'Stick Wrestle' last Christmas for the brothers. Maybe you could get your brother and hubby in on that one. One needs to be pretty comfortable in his masculinity though. Don't get me wrong, it is very testosterone driven. But if you walk in on it unexplained, it's disconcerting. Just ask Allison.

My favorite part about this video is Aunt Elaine's comments in the background. That AND the fact that NOBODY in our family has probably ever heard of OkGo. So they basically just thought we were doing a Lakettes routine.
Loved the slow motion part. SOOOOO....what was this for? Do you randomly make up dances? Will you guys perform at our family reunion this summer.

Val and Mel, it was for our huge family reunion this summer at Bear Lake. My mom was in charge of putting together a dance one night so we did this to start it off with a bang. Mostly embarass ourselves enough to make the rest of the clan feel like dancing themselves. I'm totally up for outsourcing to other family reunions! You let me know when and I'll inform the siblings :) We could make a tidy little living doing this, don't ya think?
Okay, Koryn told me about your blog (we met a few times at your mom's) and I felt really silly sitting here in the dark laughing out loud watching that video...then when I saw the next post I was laughing even harder!!!
