The Captain's Coming
The 'Captain' was in town this weekend! In college he wore this ridiculous captain's hat, but I had the Admiral one, so I can't talk. Admiral outranks Captain, right? He and J were partners in crime their freshman year of college, but I didn't meet them until two years later. They'd served missions and grown up. A little. He married a great girl I clicked with right away--that's the best. He and the wifey flew in for the weekend and it was just like old times. Only with our babies in tow. But that makes it better!

J somehow manipulates me into doing his dirty battles every time, but I held Australia for a while. I really stink at this game, but we all love it.

Where did you go that was warm enough for Abbey to sport a tank top? I was cuddled under 4 blankets on the couch when I read this post, and I was so confused...
i think what is REALLY significant about this post is that you remembered a really funny, relevant Seinfeld clip to include. Happy!
That was at the Butterfly House. It's a huge conservatory with thousands of butterflies and they keep it like a rain forest in there. After 45 minutes I had to leave, it was so warm.
Ha ha, and about the Seinfeld clip. I think of it EVERY time we play. Do you remember that episode? They insist on playing in Jerry's apartment because it's 'neutral' ground. I can't remember how they end up on the subway, but I can relate to the intensity.
Oh, the warmth looks delightful. How fun that you were able to spend some time battling friends for world domination. :)

how fun! I guess I didn't realize you guys all knew each other:) i worked with Alanna at the Sports Academy..and we lived right by them- I guess you did too! Hanbury:) Can't believe how big their baby is! Small world:)

well, i can't relate to the risk. always despised the game, but i can relate to the subways :) gotta love them.
