The majority of Abbey's friends in St Louis were little boys (we miss you!) and I've been noticing the girly-factor steadily climbing since we left. A lot more insistence on wearing the Cinderella dress, nail polish, singing/dancing/twirling, riding bikes while wearing a swimsuit and a princess crown, and refusing to take the crown off when we went to dinner at the program director's home on Tuesday.

I do love having girls. I love the dress-ups.

And the whiny demands for wardrobe changes every five minutes...

And the ensuing tantrum over the switch....

Oh my, girls look like such fun. Nolan wanted a girl so badly. I always wanted a family of three sons, but these cute dress-up times make me think girls would be great! You are the perfect mom & role model for girls - beautiful, classy, gentle, but also tough, not afraid to get dirty or try new things, and adventurous! Oh, and thanks for the sweet comment on my stress-out post. It helps to have some emotional support now & then. :)

Geese, Brooklyn needs to hang out with your girls! My kids only fight over who gets to wear Jace's superman jammies... I need to get some tutus for the poor girl!

That's funny...so we have similar days after all. Girls are just 100 times more dramatic than boys are.

Are you tired of me commenting not on the content of the post but on the beautifulness of those GIRLS?

Every time I look at a post, I think "wow, those little girls are so adorable. I must tell Ashley."

And so I do.

Miss you.

I love the wardrobe changes...and every five minutes. We also have those. Currently every dress Ellery owns is on her bedroom floor.

I'm responding to your comment on my blog here mostly to say that I love your new profile photo. And also, this particular post makes me smile big time. I can't imagine keeping TWO princesses happy! Your photos are always so beautiful and they tell a story, too. Not just posed.

Thanks for reminding me that I didn't get ANY video of Bridget's birthday. Nuts.
