Tragedy

Yes, it is tragic. That I didn't come to this place sooner!

It is sad enough to be leaving this fantastic city next week, made even worse when I realized what a gem this botanical garden is. Seventy nine acres of pure delight for the eyes, I'm tellin' ya. Two days a week it is free to county residents and I walked around all morning thinking "What is wrong with me?!? I should have been here every week!"

The other tragedy was that my camera was flashing the battery warning the whole time. But I was still able to catch a few pictures that I adore now:

Man you and Allegra have the gift of photography that is for sure. I think if you are ever out here in California you should come by and teach me your tricks, those are beautiful

I wonder what it would be like to have your hard drive filled with such amazing pictures! They should be used in some advertisement. You should start a photography tip blog and tell us all your secrets. I'd like to see some before and after pictures to see all the work you do in photoshop.

I just noticed that Hayden's 'loves' include puking. Seriously, she is exactly like Dylan. Isn't that supposed to stop at some point when they are still a baby? Not too fun when they are spitting up orange carrots and chunky crackers.

I have no words. I can't handle how sweet that picture of Abbey and Hayden is :). Oh, I just love those girls.

Oh my word, Joanie. I'm so glad you said that, I didn't even know it was there. Justin always goes in and messes with my sidebar! I'm going to have to change my password.

Wow, it's so green and beautiful. That is the one thing I miss about the midwest, how green it is everywhere. I absolutely LOVE the picture of the girls on the white stone. Do you blow your pictures up and print them? Do you recommend any website/place for printing pictures?

you are killing me with your photographic genius. the girls by the stairs and the stone walls, abbey kissing justing. it is too much. did you go on this outing intending to get incredible pics and so dressed your girls in coordinating attire?

when ARE you opening your studio?

Oh, Clint and Tina sampson live only 30 minutes away. Clint is a game warden for the same agency that employs Dax. It is fun to have built in buddies here!

Well, I did know there would be some good photo opportunities. But I have little to no say in what my toddler wears, she has QUITE the opinion!

Thanks for the info! I am really interested in blowing up prints to really big sizes and framing them in my house. I just need to work on getting some shots like yours! You are soooo talented:)

Way to have your camera out! You are right--ADORABLE is the perfect word! Love the girls in the second-to-last picture--they look so sweet in the first place, and then those white dresses with the window behind them--I'm tellin' ya--you have got an eye Ash!! Glad you found the Botanic Gardens when you did so you could cap some monumental pics before you left. So fun.
