It's Good To Be Green

I seem to be attracted to all things green lately. Particularly bright green. Looking over my pictures from Friday, that seemed to be the theme.

We went to a farmer's market in the morning and oh.my.word. The prices were unbelievable. I bought 24 cartons of blackberries for $8--that's what it would have cost me to buy 2 at my local store. Come to find out that makes a LOT of jam. So if you come to my house, you're getting rolls and jam, pancakes and jam, bread and jam, or just plain jam if you'd like. :)

Here's a pic of my plunder. It felt like thievery, I loved it.

Then off to my favorite park. It's a good 15-20 minute drive from our palce so it's ridiculous how often we've been there lately. But I think it's gorgeous and I love the wading pool there. We took some portraits--next to a big green leaf, of course. Ha ha, I have a problem.

It was all we could do to keep her from jumping in after those ducks.

I'm glad to know someone else is also obsessed with green. I LOVE it. Seeing your steal at the market makes me miss Seattle. Sigh-loved living there but seems like a lifetime ago. I don't know if you found the blog but it is:

Wow, the produce from the Farmers Market looks amazing! I want some jam! If I come over, will you give me a slice of bread with jam? ;) I wish!

Erin, if you make the trip to come see me I will give you a whole loaf and your own jar. Is that enough enticement to make a 12 hour drive? :) I keep thinking about your little GIRL! Yay! I'm so excited for you.

That jam sounds really good right now, I wish you could just pass me some through the computer. You look so beautiful in that picture with Abbey.

i love seeing the St. Louis stuff through your eyes. I'm so glad you found Soulard and Tower Grove.

Soulard is one of my top five favorite things about St. Louis, for sure!

Sorry we missed you on Sunday. Let's try again sometime.

I've actually been looking at your blog every now and then because I found it on Allegra's page! It's so cute! Good old Hanbury days when rent was like $400! But now we have cute little ones so the changes are worth it, just a little more pricey! Hope you're doing well! Where is it that you guys are living now?
