Warning: Training in Progress

Photobucket

She asked me more than once to put her back into diapers this morning. But today went better than expected. Better than yesterday. I'm scared to leave the house, but it's coming along.

potty training my 1st was super hard. it seems like first children, especially girls, are stubborn and independent. hang in there. pray for inspiration. stay home. and in a few months, it will be no sweat. and CELEBRATE when you have only ONE in diapers!

It took Kylee about 4 days until she had no accidents, but they got fewer as the week went on. I don't think I left the house with her for at least a week and a half. She'll learn fast, as long as you don't give in. Stay positive! Lots of love and encouragement. She is absolutely darling. How do you get her hair so grown up looking? Kylee's bangs are just a curly mess and she got another layer of growth coming in that is about an inch long. I don't know what to do with it.

This will probably be the longest week of your life, but it's so worth it! Juice boxes. Brilliant!

is that a dvd player in front of her? not a bad idea. i remember putting the portable training potty in front of our tv when i was training emma. she sat there, but i don't think anything happened. it finally clicked with her when she could hear the sound of her pee coming out. she liked that and liked making the sound.

wierd, i know.

Love the juice in the garbage. That is hilarious. I potty trained the girl I nannied for: never make me potty train your child. It was awful. We didn't leave the house for many days and almost killed each other. But one day she got it. She'll get it soon enough.

We are on the same potty track X's 2! I hope you are having better luck than me..... yesterday Max said, "me baby, give me a diaper!"

I love it! You will probably ge Abbey trained before I get Ashlyn there. Ashlyn loves wearing the big girl panties, but won't go #2 in the toilet still. Our trick is reading books, but it gets old after an hour of sitting there at a time. My friend is doing the same thing and the other day I walked in her house and this is the first thing I saw...Dean sitting with his pants around his ankle, on a little potty, with a cheeseburger from Mcdonald's in one hand, and a drink in the other watching sponge bob in the front room. Ha Ha it was hilarious.

Good luck with that! All I can say is, I'm glad Benjamin is past that! :) Just remember how nice it will be when she's potty trained!

Cute pic- love the garbage pic! I so know the title too- Just potty train already! That's exactly how I feel! I think I'm doing everything wrong with Lucy. I'm probably not being strict enough. Hey, I'm probably just not even thinking about it enough. I should pray more for inspiration like mentioned earlier.
