Bringing Back the Barter System

When LeAnn told me her design plans for painting Maryn's room, I knew I would have to take pictures of this little girlie in her fun space. I helped her paint the other walls bunny pink, but I left the painstaking stripe job for her and Randy! Anyway, back to The Barter. While LeAnn went to an appointment, I took pictures of Maryn for her. And in return....

She cut Abbey's hair when she got home! Bye bye, little piggies...

We did have to talk her through wearing the cape, but with an arsenal of crackers and sippy cups, the job got done. And now she's a little girl.

Gorgeous pictures!! You have a great talent. It makes me cry to see such beautiful work that looks completely effortless and know that THAT is what I want my work to look like, but to know that I need a whole lot of training before I'll get to that point. Seriously, does it come naturally, or did you take a lot of classes in school? Your children are beautiful!

I LOVE lil' bob haircuts on lil' girls. She looks darling. That bedroom is to die for too, gosh makes me want to redo Ava's yet again.

I agree with Katy. I LOVE your pictures and the way you edit them. If you ever come into town, pretty please take pictures of my kids!

Love Abby's new do. First haircut pictures are some of my favorite. I love Grandpa's picture of your dad's first haircut.

I did take a class in college, but it was the semester I met J. So...I put very little effort into it. I've just always loved pictures and you know well where that love comes from :) And Melissa, I AM coming to town in about a week! I would love to get together with the Lee girls, so hopefully we can arrange something.

I actually had my dad's picture in mind when I was editing that last picture. I think that's why I put it in black and white! Abbey's face doesn't look as concerned as his was though. Did you ever see Collin's first haircut picture?

Well, at least you picked the bob by choice and not because one of her sisters talked her into a "haircut." :) It is a ridiculously adorable cut, I just think it drove me nuts as a kid because it was called a Bob. Way to make me feel manish with my short cut while my sister Ashley ran around with dark, flowing locks.

Wow. THAT was a derail! I didn't even plan to talk about that when I started this comment. REALLY I was going to say I can't believe how amazing these pictures are. Beautiful.
