We had a humble Christmas, which was perfect for me this year. And I didn't feel guilty Christmas morning when Abbey woke up and told Allison and Noah,
"Today is Jesus's birthday! And he's going to be so mad."
I don't know where she got that, but I was glad our living room wasn't exploding with presents at that point, because I might have agreed.
So in attempt to simplify, I'm giving myself time for three pictures to represent our Thanksgiving/Christmas vacation. Hope your holidays were warm, fun, and full of family.

It was so fun to see you guys while you were here. Your girls are just so cute.
Glad you had a nice holiday. I'm sure it's good to be home though.
And do people really superman themselves over the backseat of the car to nurse while driving? Crazy....
I like the boots, these would have come in handy for us a couple weeks ago. So where are you guys off to next for school? I fed Zach while Wil drove the whole way to Florida from Ca.
Ashley! I can't believe you're home, *sniff sniff*! I hope you had a great trip home sounds like you did some acrobats in the process! Can't say I've ever done that. I don't think I'm equipped with enough in that department! Anyway...I love your pictures...and wish we could have gotten together. How's the potty training and sleep training going?
CHALLAH!
Nice pictures. I bet you're so happy to have access to your photoshop again.
It's good to have you back in the Midwest.
You mean to tell me you can nurse a baby in a moving car while the baby is in a carseat? Holy crap! Challah to that!
"He's going to be so mad." HAHAHAHHA
I love the boots, love the holiday humbleness, and I love that you can actually accomplish the feeding the car:) I could never quite get that close!!! Did you guys really take your little car!?! I bet your glad to be back!
so happy for you and your simple holiday. it makes it more special. it makes you remember what is truly important. i love to see pics of you with your baby. what a mother will do to "just get there"!!! That rocks.
Holla from me too!
I'm big on the car feeding too. No stopping our cross country train. We have a mission and if htat means great discomfort to me.. so be it.
Is that a porcelain doll you are holding in pic #2? Oh wait, I was there, in fact I think I took that extremely gorgeous picture. :) How is that girl for real, so is soo pretty!
I loved our time together.. magical :)
I love her comment of Jesus being mad. :) Kudos for simplifying! Sounds like a relaxing and perfectly serene Christmas!
Yes, thanks, Mel! It's one of my favorites now. I'm so glad someone (someone camera savy and observant) was there to catch the moment.
